The Great Give Back: Baby & Kid Clothing Recycling Program In-Person
For the month of October, RFRR is participating in The Great Give Back, a statewide community service initiative, by operating as a drop-off location for the Carter's Baby & Kid Clothing Free Recycling Program through TerraCycle.
The program recycles used baby and kid clothes into raw formats that can be used to make new products.
To participate, bring your clean and dry baby and kid clothing of any brand to the library during business hours.
Clothes will be collected in the Children’s Room.
Clearly used clothing is fine (holes and stains happen) but please make sure that the cause of the stain has been thoroughly washed away!
Accessories and shoes are not accepted by the program.
The mission of The Great Give Back "is to provide a day of opportunities for the patrons of the Public Libraries of New York State to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experiences".
