Medicare Presentation In-Person
Desiree Powers, a local Mediare and Retirement Specialist s committed to helping people better understand the Medicare system and their rights, options and entitlements. Her approach is simple: she discusses individual goals and needs and helps people undstand their choices in order to select the plan that is right for them.
Desiree is presenting two programs this week in order to meet the needs of the community - Wednesday, 10/9, 1:00 pm and Thursday, 10/10, 6:30 pm.
Born and raised on Sanford Street in Rye, NY, Desiree is a graduate of State University of New York at Stony Brook. She has been a Darien CT resident since 2007 where she raised her three children. Her passion for helping Medicare recipients began wihile assisting her aging parents and then began her career as a Medicare Specialist for Bankers Life in 2021. Desiree is currently a Unit Field Trainer and is licensed as a Medicare Specialist in New York, Connecticut and New Hampshire.
