ABOUT THE PLAYERS

Arlene “Ozzie” Ashburn has performed for young and old audiences alike, as an actor, singer and dancer for several decades. She has also taught, Creative Drama and Musical Theatre for Boces Arts in Education, NWCA, Westco Productions and the Enchanted Garden Studios, where she wrote, directed, choreographed and vocally trained her students towards a final production. Ozzie would like to dedicate the third act of her life to performing for as many audiences as possible just for the pure joy of it!

Robert Markowitz has written personal essays for the New York Times and a novel, Clown Shoes, published by Heliotrope Books. As a musician, he has released three children’s albums of original songs and played thousands of shows. He holds a law degree from Duke University and worked as an attorney, a teacher, and a clown.

Anna Tornello is a classically trained singer from Italy. She has studied in Genoa and La Spezia prior to moving to the United States and continuing her training in New York. She performed the roles of Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Cio Cio San in Madama Butterly, and Violetta Valery in Traviata. She is currently active in Connecticut, where she performs a repertoire that includes opera and Italian folk songs.
