The American pastime comes to the Silver Screen through Noah Gittell’s first book, “Baseball: The Movie” Through his background as an experienced film and sports journalist, Gittell explores the myths and performances of baseball cinema, and the ways pop culture connects with sports and politics.
Noah Gittell is a film and sports journalist who has written for The New York Times, The Guardian, The Ringer, LA Review of Books and more. He's a regular contributor to BBC's "Talking Movies" and a frequent lecturer at Smithsonian Associates. "Baseball: The Movie" is his first book.
