Tom Stoppard’s “Rosencrantz And Guildenstern Are Dead.”
Stoppard is considered by many to be our greatest living playwright. “Rosencrantz” is a highly entertaining, accessible play, although it will probably help you to reread Hamlet for a more complete appreciation of Stoppard’s talent. It also has the advantage of having been made into a wonderful movie version for those who might want to supplement the experience of just reading the play.
